Goodbye, Scarf.

blaire

Have you ever sold something really precious and suddenly realized you should have never let it go??? I tried to not let myself get attached to this incredible Victorian silk ruffle scarf I had in the shop, but the second it sold I felt a little crushed. Ah, well, it’s new owner seems very sweet and very excited to receive it. I am assured it has a good home.

Before I sent it away forever, I wanted to get some nice photos to remember it by. My friend Blaire was more than happy to model it for me. In fact, I kind of had to tug it away from her when we were done. :)

Oh it will have a good home, Desiree, I promise! I am pregnant, and in need of some frills for a part of my body that isn’t expanding!
    Great pics too!

Oh, it’s arrived! And all the more gorgeous in real life! I’ve been floating (well, in my head I’m floating – but the reality is that I’m waddling) around the house in my new frills, experimenting with different vintage outfits. Just waiting for a rain-free opportunity to show off now . . .
